For workpieces whose machining features are offset from the gripping reference, turning operations can be performed by mounting the chuck eccentrically relative to the machine center.

The chuck incorporates an OPA chuck with excellent repeatability for the gripping reference and features a built-in positioning mechanism, enabling automated operation.

High-Speed Rotation Capability Despite Eccentric Clamping

To ensure high-speed rotation even with an inherently unbalanced chuck configuration, dynamic balancing is performed in-house prior to shipment.
