From Heavy-Duty Cutting to Finish Machining with a Single Chuck

The chuck jaws are first retracted, allowing the outside diameter at the jaw-gripping area to be machined using only the face driver located at the center of the workpiece.

The workpiece is then clamped by the chuck jaws, enabling heavy-duty machining of the remaining outside diameters.

Finally, the jaws are retracted again, and the entire outside diameter can be finish-machined using only the face driver.
